Poor in resources yet rich in wealth, the Deshi Tribe have adapted to life cling onto the Silver Mountains and baring through the Gold Desert. Mining and Ghost towns dot their region along with shining cities lining the salt lakes and eastern coast of Falx. The capital is known as Scorchmaw.

Reflecting their hardy nature, the Deshi is the second smallest in physical size, standing 1 and a half chords tall (1m). They have shaggy grey to black feathers with blue, green, or yellow stripes going along their backs. Each Deshi tribesraptor has a distinct horny crest over their beak, from domed to branching out, each raptor can be distinguished by their head crest.

The Tribe is lead by their Amber Lord or Lady, a position held by the winner of the Amber Tournament, a huge competition that is open to any Deshi raptor of age, however only 20 accepted. The Tournament is run by the previous Amber Lord or Lady's council who choose which events and rounds will be put into the Tournament. Each Tournament happens after the previous Amber Lord or Lady dies or retires and is held in the Deshi capital of Scorchmaw.

Because of the Tribe's lack of natural resources, they rely on trade with the other tribes to get enough food, water, and comforts in exchange for metals, minerals, salt, jewels, and other valuables. They frequently trade with the Seager for fish and shells, the Argider for silks and fruits, and Ikaika for the promise of no invasion. The Venery Tribe are not as enthusiastic about trade as the Deshi.
