Loyalty means a lot to Rang, and he is fiercely loyal to his pack and friends. If loyalties are ever broken, he quickly becomes disorientated and distraught temporarily.

Rangvaldr enjoys making a competition out of even the little things. He sometimes verbally challenges a potential competitor or he may keep the challenge silently in his head. He doesnt hold onto these competitions or feels bad about losing and often forgets about

The red wolf cant help but be curious towards things that are unknown to him. Behaviors of creatures and humans catch his interest often and he can watch strange little things such as weather changes or a pretty sight all day. He often contemplates whatever caught his interest and tries to understand it.

Rangvaldr is a terribly messy eater and if he had his own room to decorate, it would be filthy. He doesnt mind things being clean/organized, he just doesnt want to put the effort into upkeeping it, especially since he doesnt mind being messy.

The red wolf responds to everyone and anyone in a casual way, not out of a desire to be rebellious but moreso because manners go completely over his head. He may not even realize he's speaking to a higher ranked wolf in a too-casual manner but if he notices (or is corrected) he tries to switch up his wording for the moment, but will definitely forget to be professional in their next conversation.

Spiteful
Rangvaldr doesnt hold grudges often, but when he does he is very unforgiving and spiteful towards whomever did him wrong.

Rangvaldr will slack off his duties in an effort to escape the heat. During very hot days he tries to stay in the shade as long as he can or lay submerged in shallow waters.

Backstory:
Rangvaldr was born in Jormun and was the only dark burgandy and red pup in the family. When he was a pup he was very self-conscious about his appearance whenever he sat along side his cream-colored siblings which led to social awkwardness and clumsy behavior in his very early years. As the red pup aged, he quickly realized that he was not much different than his family other than his fur color and with the help of his father Astor, Rangvaldr quickly began to develop a confident young wolf. Rang's favorite moment with his father was his close bond with him, even though Astor was often serious, strict and provided tough love, Astor let his softer side shine through with random play sessions and mischievous attitudes. Rang was inspired by his father to do his best for the pack and to be brave even in his moments of fear.
After his father’s death, Rangvaldr fell into a deep grief and in his weakest moments his family and friends came through and his loyalty to his pack grew deeper. He is not the type of wolf to reject a packmate in need and even if a packmate annoys or angers him, Rangvaldr doesn’t have the heart to hold a grudge. The red wolf is a fierce warrior and a fantastic hunter, but above all he greatly loves to explore. Rangvaldr often volunteers to join hunting parties, not only for the thrill of a good hunt, but also for the chance to get out of the pack’s densite and explore the world around him.
