An alternate skin idea for Splinter was a druid skin. A few elements are retained from his normal appearance, but his costume is supposed to be made entirely from natural materials. His bo staff has also been traded for a more druidic staff, although it's still used the same. While his mouth was covered in his normal outfit, he was clean-shaven there. Here, he has some stubble because he's spent some time in the woods and didn't shave.
