Ruru was very popular at the con, much to my delight. I spend over four hours in total in the suit!
An incredible thank you to all that stopped for photos or came to say hi!

I was mistaken for a giant plushie a few times while I was lying down.
People would lay on their side with me to take photos, and then I'd move suddenly.
One lady actually squaled, haha.

So I apologies to the handful of people I nearly frightened to death.

REally wonderful work! I will make my first Quadsuit this year too and hope it will look at least a bit as good as yours. Wonderful work on the markings and the feather-like "excrescence" on his shoulder and hips! Are they quilted or did these things stay upright on their own?

First time lucky, eh? I love it when you finally decide to give something a go and it turns out great. Like my Umbreon- first attempt at a full head and papier mache...

I'd have just sewn a panel across the front to make the chest a bit deeper, but I'm sure you needed mobility. Looks very tidy, feels like he has personality of his own and LOVE his quills/spikes, they are beautifully done. Congratulations on your success. THe paws look badass, too! xxxx

Wow, this costume is amazing. Also oddly enough accurate if you ever played the game Digimon masters (my Gabumon is tiny so when she digivolves to Garurumon she's about as big as a person on 4 legs).

I actually based him off a real wolf first, and then modified him to look as Garurumon as possible, while still looking wolf-like. c:

I'm very much enjoying this suit! I love the overall shape, the only thing I would mention was using a longer pile fur. That's honestly it. But in actuality, the short sleek look is very clean and the smoothness is very admirable. Stunning job! Very very clean, very very smooth, just overall a WOW!

The next one will definitely be a better quality and longer fur.
It was so hard designing him to look fitted with the shorter stuff. xD

I will have to investigate online though as our fabrics stores don't have much variety and are crazy expensive.

distinctive fabrics, syfabrics, fabricdepot, fabric.com, mendels, and imstuffedfur are all great sites for faux fur. :>
