Description
This is a remake of a photograph I fell upon by the estimable photographer, Dean Bradshaw of Los Angeles. Though it is somewhat outside my usual work, what caught my eye is the disparate, disconnected components that somehow cohere into an artistically brilliant whole. The original shows indications of post work, e.g., the background smoke/fog that does not envelope the subject so I felt challenged to recreate the image as a one-pass, entirely 3D, 100% iRay render with no postwork, while remaining faithful to the scene's details.
