Description This description will have late game spoilers!

I did the sketch for this drawing yesterday but didn't feel like colouring as I wasn't happy with the drawing, I think it's due to me not being as good at drawing models as portraits. However after colouring I think the drawing looks a lot better granted not as dramatic as the original as he had more of the cloak tail things and they had an extra object on top. I basically just wanted to draw Luard like any other human character, I threw in the caldron and a wall to fill up some more space as the drawing itself was a little too small. It was fun to use gray (an attempt at silver) as the lining since I have mainly been drawing stuff with gold lining, get ready for the bronze lining one day .

Luard is the final boss of the game as he is the villain as in the past he used an alchemy method that used up the life of the land with you seeing a canyon being the result of this. A character called Plachta stopped him then turned herself into a book I guess to try and stop him if her every returned, she split him into two beings who could not use alchemy. However she lost her memory and told Sophie about a cauldron known as the "Cauldron of Knowledge" which grants anyone the ability to use alchemy which was what Luard wanted. The two character he was split into are shown around and I did get suspicious of them which is why I felt Sophie felt more driven by an antagonist versus every other Atelier game I have played banning Ryza. Then his boss fight is a nightmare as he can put a second attack in the time line that prompts every turn, then in a second phase he can set up a heal every turn which get's overwhelming fast.
