Here's part of a mock/test animation I'm working on for The Taffetas with many more to come. These are being done in order to figure out our production pipeline. Hopefully they're something everyone will enjoy looking at along the way as well!

Puppet > Illustrator
Animation > Flash
Compositing and Lighting > After Effects

I vectored the puppet head this time around ( though*DemonGemini6 did the body because she's super amazing at what she does! )

Ultimately, I definitely found some problems in the Veil puppet this time around and some things to be desired here and there that I'll be fixing up this week for all the animators on the project.

EDIT: fixed a few small things based off of critique- thanks everyone!

EDIT 2: wow, 70+ favorites in like 2 days? I'm not used to this...thank you everyone.

Daily deviatoin - well deserved! i REALLY love this two animation and it makes me super-excited about the project!
Seriously this is wonderful! Though I'm well-aware that it is impossible to keep up with this kind of detailed quality for all way long but if you actually willing to give this much attention to it only in the imprortant moments.. maaan! I'm in love *____*

no problem im still trying to get patience kinda hard since im younger , because we never have any type of patience but honestly that is the smoothest fluid animation ive seen on deviant art excellent your welcome ^.^

Thanks so much for the kind comment! As for the nose, *DemonGemini6 and I thought it'd be more fun if in his design the nose was kind of a surprise from his front-on to 3/4 and side view XD

Cool. It's a combo of normal tweening and shape tweening? Very fluid. You guys are even going to have overlapping animation on the eyes! That's ambitious!

Hi there! Awesome, you know your stuff! Yep, it's all tweens and shape tweens :> Thank you! The eyelashes won't have secondary motion all the time, but because it's such a close up I felt it made the animation a little more interesting.

Oh it definitely looks great for sure! So when you have medium or longer shots, you wont put as much overlapping animtion on the eyes and stuff. It does make sense with the hair at any distance though. That always adds to the life and 'hides' the flashyness. You gonna post any walk cycles/tests as well? I hope your have much success with the work. What's your schedule? You have a year to do this?
