257 BC, A young boy found living in the wild was captured and sold as a slave. but believed to be raised by lions the boy was completely feral and possessed the strength of a full grown man twice his size meaning he could not be controlled. he was sent to meet his death in the coliseum. With no armor or weapons he fought 3 gladiators and killed them with his bare hands. they then sent in 5 more gladiators and for 40 minutes the battle waged. all seemed lost when the boy suddenly began to transform into a savage beast. Resembling a cross between a lion and a tiger he grew an additional 4 feet and his strength increased tenfold. he tore the 5 gladiators to shreds and from then on was known as "Goliath, the Beast of Legend" not only did he survive but he thrived as a Gladiator believed to be immortal and for the next 16 years he was undefeated until he finally won his freedom. he disappeared back into the wilds from which he came and the name Goliath faded into myth. some legends say the gods blessed him with immortality and he still lives on and he dwells within the crumbling ruins of an abandoned fortress hidden deep in a Roman forest.
