I favored it a while ago, but i'm still impressed. I look at it very often, and the details are fascinating. Great work!

Looks heavy, I love it!
I actually like how the tip is rounded. This sword looks more like it's meant to give crushing blows rather than be all that slicy dicy. It's wide and long, making it look real heavy!
I know I said in my last comment that the cross guard was my only nitpick, but I found another nitpick. I noticed the hilt is hollow and comprised of bars arranged for the hilt. This makes the hilt look somewhat flimsy. You have this big weighty sword, and the hilt looks like it would be bent from the first swing. Atleast that's the theory, it COULD work, but it's always best to have a hilt where the tang of the sword is inside and possibly even welded to the pommel.
On top of that, with the hilt looking hollow, it gives me the impression that most of the weight is on the blade. Now you have a pretty wide hefty looking blade here alongside the guard being all bulky (Which looks cool, mind you~), but the hilt being all light looking alongside the pommel makes it look like even in the fantasy sense this sword would be difficult to wield.
Personally, I'd have given the hilt a bar running through its center to give it a look of sturdiness. I'd also make the pommel more weighty looking and bulky. It doesn't have to realistically balance off the weight of the sword, that would have to look ridiculous considering we're talking about a fantasy sword where it's okay to have a huge-massive blade. I'd just make the pommel look like it has more of a heft to it so it matches the wide blade.
Anyways! Sorry for the constructive criticism, I love this design! It's just that hilt was driving me crazy!

While that sword in and of itself is awesome...Β
When I first saw it I thought it had a wooden piece in the center of the shaft. And I couldn't stop thinking about That idea.
How would it look after a battle or two? The wood chipped, splintered, charred?
And now I can't stop thinking about That concept and how kickass (albeit pointless) it would be for a sword to have a replaceable wooden center of the shaft.
Possibly needed for specific runes or glyphs that require a touch of nature to work?
Rambling. Good sword design!

Great work! This could only be better if it were made available to modders to add to games such as Skyrim! I love the details of the hilt and blade.

I've gotta say it looks like daves sword from homestuck. I would love to know how you made it and like a size scale.

i could answer that but i doubt that you want an in-depth look at all the reasons why this design is incredibly impractical.Β

Wait, Is this series supposed to be named "The Shadow of Heresy?"
Not to be persnickety or anything, but the name seems strange to me.
Other than that, I love the weapons in this series.
Keep up the great work!

Ah, I see. But don't worry about it! You made it, you name it!
It was your visualization of an idea you had; don't let me get in the way.
Keep it up! Β
