Description
That is how I imagine a basilisk - more like a lizard or dragon then child of hen and frog. He is my first high-detailed figure Sad, but he is very fragile (my fault). I started making him from tail (had bought myself new type of the polymer clay and was so inspired ) and I wanted to do it in the way so every part can be viewed as a separate creature.

Material: polymer clay;
Size: 9 cm (3.5 inches);

Creature description: basilisks live in the warm sandy deserts, digging their dens near oasises. They love sunbathing and can be often found lazily laying in the evening/morning sunshine (when it's not too hot). Basilisks' mind is equal to human but their way of thinking is totally different and the style of life is closer to animal. They love to collect things - beautiful stones, human crafts, unusual roots... This list can be endless. Adult basilisks usually are 2,5-3 m length, their coloring varies from white/siver to red/copper. They are gifted with a quite long life - if nothing interferes, basilisks will live for ages. Despite of that their number is small cause the lack of babies. Basilisks are cautious and rarely show themselves to humans.
