It watched as the people passed by.

They could see it so plainly in sight, but they try to ignore it.
Children are prohibited to go near it.

From a distance it would only seem like a regular pokemon, but if you look closely, it's merely a reminder of the tragic accident that happened 20 years ago.

Chris was a nice boy, friendly and caring. Though, he had no friends. He was cursed. Doomed to die at a young age. Nobody would go near him in fear that they would catch it too.

He was always ill and frail. He had to stay close to home, so he couldn't go far and have a chance to be a pokemon trainer like the others.

He was sad about it, but he kept on going.

On his 13th birthday, Chris' grandmother told him that she was sure he would make a friend that day.

He sighed and smiled, "You know that nobody is allowed near me, Gram. The town hates me."

"It's god's gift to you today." She replied.

She was right. Later on, Chris had made a friend that day.

He found a baby Poochyena that day in the back woods near his house. I came right up to him and licked his hand. He knew then that he had a best friend.

Some trainers would challenge them, they won some, they lost some.
They were always in good spirits though. Always smiling.

After a year, he came to realize that it had suffered illness like him, he wasn't sure if it was his fault or not, but it never cared. Poochyena would never leave his side. He was loyal.

Chris felt better with Poochyena, he didn't feel so alone.

On his 15th birthday, Chris had taken Poochyena to one of the famous buildings in his town. It was a tower about 10 stories high.

They stood outside an looked all the way up.

Poochyena whimpered a little but Chris told him it would be alright.

He didn't know what would happen...

People were running out of the building until it was empty.

Poochyena went into a fit, it knew something was wrong. Chris wouldn't listen to him, all he did was stand there staring at the building. He felt like he couldn't move.

The tower had smoke coming out of it.

Poochyena howled.

One of the rooms in the tower blew up and shards came falling down.

Finally Chris moved... But it was too late. A piece of the tower fell crushing his leg. People were still running from the building, some watched him from far away. Nobody did anything.

He pushed Poochyena away from him, trying to make him run. Poochyena stayed. It howled in horror, it tried to get the people to help. Still nobody helped.

Poochyena used Shadowball repeatedly at the tower piece in attempt to free his best friend. It was no use. Another piece came crashing down.

Chris flinched, it didn't crush him compleatly yet. He reached and patted Poochyena's head. He smiled.

"You will always be... my best friend... Poochyena." He whispered.

Poochyena jolted back as the last piece fell, crushing Chris beneath.

The people backed away from the collapsing building.

Poochena backed away as well.

It stared. It lost it's only friend, it's best friend. And he was the only one killed. It howled, but not in sadness. It was rage. Full fledged rage.
It howled longer, louder. It's fur standing now.

The howl was no longer a howl, but instead it was words.

"WHY?! WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIE?!!?!" It screamed.

The people staggered back in horror. Poochyena couldn't speak.

It faced them. Shodowballs flew in every which direction, "HE DID NOTHING WRONG!! AND YOU LET HIM DIE!!!"

People ran away, some people were hit and faded away to dust.

"YOU LET HIM DIE!!! WHY DID YOU LET HIM DIE?!?!"

Eventually the Poochyena fell ill and died, but it's ghost remained. To this day it haunts the people. Every year on that day, he would kill someone.

If you went close enough to it you could hear it whispering.

"You let him die...."

I totally could have written this better. I think it sucked. xD
