Since you still aren't listening to what I'm saying, here's the DeviantART copyright policy, just so you can read it yourself. You can't use an artist's work, even WITH CREDITING, or saying it ISN'T YOURS, if you don't have written, express permission from that artist to use and post their work. It insults them, it makes them angry, and they can sue you for damages. [link] Don't say I didn't warn you or try to help your friend when I report her for her stolen copyrighted images. I'm sorry, but that won't matter to the original artist or the Admins. You've got to have permission from the original artist to use their work in any way, shape, or form. This included.

I've had this picture in my computer for over a year trying to find out who the original artist is. Never found it. I'm not taking credit for it, or making any money off of it.

You can find them through advanced searches often enough. But nonetheless, just because you can't find the artist does not mean that the picture is automatically your domain. It is still under copyright and it's against the rules of DA to use a copyrighted image, as you can read here: [link]

Yes, but while that saves your butt, it's still not the base maker's jurisdiction to give that kind of permission. In all actuality, he/she stole the image in the first place to make the base, therefore, it's his/her problem.
