Ender's Game is one of the best books I've read - and one of the top 3 best science fiction books of time.
The movie will be out this October I think it was. : )

I wonder if I should give your request artists some advice on style and drawing techniques, for your sake and their own. I feel responsible. This pose is good, but lineart needs to be vector if the artist doesn't have a tablet.

i wouldn't worry since none of it canon and it's free. I'm trying to mass produce images because when you google my pen name they pop up. I love Ivy's appearance here though. Every piece of art I like a lot and follows the world's guidelines closest I put in my gallery. I got some cool stuff in my Enders Gate related favorite folder but it isn't close enough to canon.

Yeah, making canon is really tough. So it's like fanart. I'll have this picture in mind when I'll be designing Ivy. But people need to learn anyway 
The outfit looks casual, she'll need realistic chainmail that protects her body, but what she's wearing is excellent for surcoat design. Why shouldn't it look like dress, really?

Who is Miyazaki? And yeah I thought of the chain mail armor too and then realized, she actually battles inside of her golmech, if every time the pilot's outfit gets ruined when summoning the golmech would they really wear expensive armor that would get destroyed by the leech-like veins? Igor sits back and dictates things so of course he is heavily armored.

You haven't seen Miyazaki's anime? Shame on you, go and watch it! It's very beautiful, kind and inspiring, and weird like anything Japanese, in a good way
This connection looks like gory business! That's why I love your setting ^_^ They need special suits for piloting, with orifices for leeching. Those suits are not much design, more like a technical drawing, so the characters still need cool outfits they would wear in public places.
