Aright folks, this is a concept I had in mind for a very long time, let's say back in 2018 I guess, I did a re-watch of a very infamous and somewhat ignored TV series, in the form of "Captain N: The Game Master", which's if no one knows, it's about a teenager enters the world of video games that teams up with barley unrecognizable designs of Mega Man, Simon Belmont and Pit, alongside them is the ruler; Princess Lana, as together trying to stop the evil Mother Brain from taking over.
It was an ambitious concept for it's time, considering this was the 80s and barley any knowledge was there unlike today, idk if is it still holds to some, but for me it really did. So after finishing all 3 seasons, it sparked me to do modern visualized revival for it, with more video games presentation in the right way with some world building and character arcs.
Unfortunately it didn't see any light of day, due to the fact I wanted a very OC to fill the gap of the "Captain N" moniker, so it kinda went away but the basic concept was still in my mind all these years, until meeting JH-Production and getting to know his OC cast, I thought I'll try building my vision and how it's gonna look like, and the result is this.

Ok I wanted to do it a little different, the moniker "Captain N" I think for today standards is kinda outdated and cliche, and the very basis of it is a world of video games, not just exclusive to Nintendo, so I went with "Digital Worlds" as simple as it sounds.
for main characters, I wanted to re-use both Kevin and Lana as they're mere OCs like, but since there was no sprites around and certainly nothing as of today, I kinda made an agreement with my good friend JH-Production to use some of his own OCs to represent my vision, introducing Cassandra, the protagonist of Sonic Glitch, which in here has no relation to it as I explained to him. The other members I did want to keep the original line-up, but with how today audience tend to focus more on Nintendo IPs rather than third-party, I used actually Nintendo characters, but selected the ones that are kinda more solo. The team consist of Rosalina as the main adviser and guiding figure in place of Lana. I originally wanted Palutena but sprite limits, the others are Kirby, Fox and Captain Falcon as the sort of "Horsemen", with supporting cast here and there like R.O.B. and Falco.
The villain is, Yup, Mother Brain and her army of space pirates led by the monstrous Ridley.

The premise is very in part with the original tv series, but I build it to be more deep, expanded and overall a grand journey inside the world of gaming, so that the characters can flesh out and have more engaging moments.
I am aware of the lack of iconic characters such as Mario or Link or heck Sonic, but as a content creator I wanted to focus on the more obscure characters in terms of this concept, to hopefully gain more appeal towards, but downline these icons WILL eventually cross path and team up, plus more surprising characters to appear.

This is perhaps my most ambitious project I wanted to make, since in my first drafts, it's attention was to appeal to real life gamers, and their relationship with their games and socializing, to give more emotional depth to it that I experienced and others too.
In the meantime, nothing is in the workplace, as I'm busy with establishing my "Supernova Pixelated Universe" and finishing my semester, but we'll see down the road.
As usual give your thoughts on this concept and hopefully if I can, I'll make more concepts of it
