Artist's notes: FINALLY! I know I haven't been adhering to the one drawing per day parameters of the challenge but this one took an incredibly long time for me to make although admittedly a fair amount of the delay was due to my own procrastination. Depicted here is a calming scene of a Triceratops drinking from a forest stream in the Hell Creek formation at the very end of the Cretaceous period. The other creatures shown here are Adocus (the turtle), Habrosaurus ( the snake like amphibian with exposed gills like those of an axolotl), Paleosaniwa (the lizard), and Pachycephalosaurus. Although I am quite satisfied with this work it does expose two of my weaknesses as an artist; plants and landscapes. I enjoyed this challenge overall and I appreciated how it allowed me to practice various aspects of both paleoart and traditional illustration with the wide variety of daily challenges, however there were a lot of my favorite dinosaurs that I did not get to draw and, I didn't realize this until the last challenge, but I did not include any Triassic dinosaurs at all. Anyway I'm probably going to take a little break from paleoart in order to work on some ideas I've been having for more artwork but don't worry, inevitably I will always go back to drawing prehistoric animals. GREAT! But the shape of the hind paws is innacurate www.juraparkkrasiejow.pl/wp-co… and the 4th and 5th digits of the hind paws did not have these nail like structures (with the 5th one not even touching the ground).

Looks cool. It seems as though you shou;d have spent more time on the Triceratops angle. But it's really good for one day

Oh, I'm embarrassed to say, but this took several days to do, I'm just not so good at showing depth in landscapes or portraying objects at more interesting angles.
