A sketchy montage of Hotaru, based on stills and the manga; part of me trying to figure out this whole "drawing Anime" thing. I like how the bottom two look, but the top two seem a little derpy, somehow. Feedback is greatly appreciated, as I'm pretty far out of my element here.Related content

Wonderful take on your anime drawing skills it looks close to being professional! Except I suggest for the mouth to be a little more triangle as that's how we see in Japanese art style. And as always it's always a good idea to autograph your work and date it so that people know how old the art pieces and who is it drawn by, overall nice job !

A good choice to study, Naoko Takeuchi has a great style. If you're not already I suggest making sure to draw underlying structures, not just the lines you can see, like lines to between the eyes, see the angle they are, how far they are apart and where they are located on the face. Motion lines and silhouettes are also good to note.

I feel some of your lines are a little stiff though, like on the dress of the one on the bottom left. Fabric is very flexible and flows, at least I'm assuming this one is.
I really like how you've done the hair though!!
