If a man wants to be manly and take part stereotypical manly behavior and activities, HE SHOULD NOT BE SHAMED FOR DOING SO. The exact same goes for women. If a woman wants to be feminine and take part in stereotypical feminine behavior and activities, SHE SHOULD NOT BE SHAMED FOR DOING SO. It's very simple, really. No, I am not saying that Gender Roles should be forced on anyone, I'm just saying that those who choose to conform to (or advocate for) Gender Roles should not be shouted down or shamed.Related content

I agree, let people do whatever they want, even if it's stereotypical.

I don't have the link, but I've seen evidence that in first world countries, where people are more free to pursue any life they choose, they're more likely to follow sex roles. If given the choice, most people will go by what makes them happy, which typically coincides with satisfying biological compulsions.
