Mirror of 5 ContestNEW - DEADLINE EXTENSION TO 30th APRIL 2022 - NEWThis time I have no new milestones to offer for celebrating in a contest, but nevertheless there is another incident for having a celebration competition: a repetition number - in this case the mirror of 5 means the doubling of it. Because of that interesting number that it is, I have decided to host a birthday contest. What comes into my mind when thinking of number 5(5) which still intensify the meaning?Freedom, open-mindedness, loyalty, stability, love, devotion, craving for change, independence, adventure, curiosity.Formerly, 5 was believed to be the number resembling a marriage between the Earth and the Heavens. The pentagram is a significant symbol in many religions. In astrology, 5 is associated with Mercury, the planet of intelligence, logic, awareness, communication and ideas. Number 5 is bridging the gaps between the physical and spiritual worlds. The F ibonacci number 5 stands for unconditional love and the number of the twin flame.So, again time for celebration of my "repetition" birthday. Who can take part Everybody can take part, from friend to watcher to passer by, from regular member, newby to longtime member, core member, senior member, volunteer collegues, even staff if they would like to. What monuments have you seen? Which cities have you visited? Through which natural surroundings have you hiked? Your most favorable place in the world!Topic 2: WinterLandscapes and scenery with snow covers or hoarfrost, snow covered mountain peaks, frozen lakes or streams, animal traces in the snow, winter sun in the sky or falling snowflakes. Topic 3: Night sky How does the nightly sky look at your home? Are there stars, the moon in whatever phase, constellations. Special things like galaxies, planets/planetoids from afar, nebulas are a special bonus. Topic 4: Spirituality What comes into your mind when you hear the word "Spirituality"? Is it a matter of faith, a matter of life or philosophy? Let your emotions and minds flow! Topic 5: Love Everything that you connect with love: love between partners, platonic love, congenial love, charity, self love, devotion - perhaps something completely different. Let your energy and creativity circulate! Topic 6: Middle Ages Everything concerning the epoch of the Middle Ages: Minstrels, Knights, Maidens, historical events, legends like King Athur, Merlin, Perceval, the Holy Grail. Illnesses like the plague and plague doctor, tournaments, Robin Hood, weapons and armor - everything Middle Ages! Topic 7: Memories of Gratefulness Let your bright and positive memories come up! For what are you grateful in your life? Has the event changed your life? Topic 8: Fantasy This is a diverse topic: Fantasy can be fairytales, mythology of different cultures, fantasy beings and creatures, movies and series, books. Let me see what fantasy is to you! Topic 9: Animal World Here is the place for all animals, from wildlife animals, pets, insects, invertebrates, sea life and birds - everything you consider that is belonging to the great realms of the animals. Topic 10: Birthday Present What do you think? Which birthday present might fit me? Any ideas what you would like to give me on my repetition number birthday? Dates The contest will start on 15th January 2022.It will end on 31st March 2022.Deadline extended on wish to 30th April 2022. Deadline will be extended if necessary!! New or old art It can be either new art or old art, whereby new art after the date of this journal would be prefered. What language (literature) should the deviations have - English - German - French - Latin (these are my most common languages) How many entries can you submit All participants can submit up to 10 deviations (that means, one piece of art for each topic - but not two or more for one topic). Please indicate in your author's description for what topic/theme you have created your work. Deviations can be either left as a comment on this blog/journal or be sent per note to me. I will create 10 different folders in my collections (fav.) gallery, where you can see the works in.
