Though my favourite musical instrument is the tenor sax, I must say that when played smoothly, I also like the sound of the electric guitar X3 Queen are the best example I know, of course, but I also know a few songs by Elton John featuring this instrument, like "Durban deep"; one of his songs I like the best, of course ^^ What about your favourite musical instrument?

The best tip I can give you concerning making the main body seem less hairless is to add fur details at convex surfaces. Fur is naturally more visual and less uniform on those areas and thus it's a very good place to start.

Not sure how I would explain it in simpler words, I'm afraid. A convex surface is a surface that bulges outwards as oppose to a concave surface, which bulges inwards.
In context of the actual picture you could, for an example identify the shoulders as a convex surface as long as he doesn't raise his arms. Also, the armpits are concave under the same circumstances.
