It so happened that I went to the fire campaign as a volunteer at this spring. Unfortunately, there are too few firefighters to fully control the situation with fires. In addition, their main task is to extinguish settlements, respectively, they are obliged to extinguish natural fires only when there is a threat to populated areas.

Burning grass is one of the main causes of forest fires. Sometimes, because of them, villages are also burnt out. Thus, according to official statistics, an average of 2 million hectares of forest burns in Russia annually. According to the international centers for monitoring forest fires, every year
in Russia, more than 14 million hectares are burned out. For some time, grass fires have been illegal, but who stops it? It is widely believed that supposedly the grass grows better in the conflagration, but this is not the case - just the newly sprouted green grass is better visible against the background of the burnt out. Many seeds of plants perish at grass palahs, and birds with animals perish with them.
