Description This is my favorite oriental dragon as far as the colors go. I used a gentle blend for the body then reversed the blend for the mane. It created a very interesting effect.

How do you make these? They are amazing! I've been trying to get a hold of the stuff to try and experiment with sculpting, but I'm not sure exactly what to use

I use a variety of polymer clays, my favorites are premo, fimo, and also sculpt firm. I get my clay from the local arts and crafted stores but you can also order polymer clay online.

Hope that helps and good luck with your sculpting

Thanks! I'll see if I can pick some up Also, how do you start the base? is it a tinfoil base, or do you use a type of wire?

It really depends on the size and detail of your sculpt. This particular one I use tin foil wrapped around wire. I also tend to wrap my foil in masking tape to give the clay something to grip too.

These are made from polymer clay and depending on where you live, you should be able to buy it from your local craft/hobby store.
