Description Some advice on hands. I'll do my best to explain.

1. So that angular thing that is labeled 1, 2, 3, is the the finger. What you should remember that there are three parts of a whole finger starting from the knuckle. The bone that connects to the knuckle is usually the longest, bone that is connected to the long one is usually medium sized, and the bone that connects to the middle of the finger is the shortest, which should be your finger tip. Remember starting from the knuckle. The thumb is a little confusing because it does kind of have three parts, but my suggestion is that it has two if you are looking at it from where it connects from the pointing finger.

2. The lines that run along the knuckle is basically bone just bone structure guys mostly have that, women don't really have that, but that bone structure line doesn't go straight it goes downward toward the center of the hand.

3. The wrist to elbow. What I was trying to say is that your arm from the wrist to elbow is not straight like a stick either. From wrist to elbow the arm grows bigger and elbow to wrist it grows smaller. Take a look at your arm yourself if you want to check it out.

When you are drawing always keep these facts in mind. Before I wasn't able to understand why my hands looked wrong but I learned these rules and it helped me improved.
