Apparently, Sarovanya and Morcundu decided to start a metal band. I think they'll fit right in with the common fantasy themes in the power metal genre.This is my submission to the Elven Metal Musician Challenge over at
Sarovanya is not a stranger to being drawn as a metal front man, he's gotten the hair metal treatment quite a few times in the past, so I decided to run with the challenge. I started out with the plan for hair metal, but it developed into power metal as I was browsing through my Edguy Monuments Collectors Album and other metal band photos online.
Setup and rendered in DAZ Studio 4.10 Public Build. Postwork in Photoshop Elements 8.0.

Thanks, Spy! I used a method I found in the DAZ forums to create atmosphere using a primitive and iray shaders, I believe SickleYield also did a tutorial on it. It didn't turn out exactly how I wanted so I rendered layers and then combined and edited in photoshop. I'm glad it seems to have worked out!
