I will disable comment in this, just want to repost to clarify my stance on the pressing matter of "AI-generated images" [plus I don't want to waste my time cursing some kids who support AI in the comment section, it's just wrong to yell at children].

Ai is a powerful tool and an invention that will have a big impact on the future of art, sure. I am also aware that AI is not going anywhere and it is here to stay. The thing I'm looking forward to are regulations to bring it into the correct shape and not the shit-spamming we see these days. Yeah I post a lot too, usually an artwork per one/two days, sometimes those are just variants/revisions of my works. I know that and I always encourage people to create more, work more because I just love the work process of painting/drawing a piece of art. The end results sometimes aren't good, but the process is what makes me [and a large portion of the art community] fall in love with "art" in general.

But yeah when you're some mindless idiots who just want to make a couple of quick bucks by spamming the platform, and there're millions like you joining everyday - I think the needs to separate AI into its own category is abundantly clear. I don't know how it can be done but looking back at the inception of photography or digital art can be a useful method, although the end results and the spam capabilities are something that humans who do photography and digital art cannot possibly be compared to - so yeah that's the hard part.

I do think that we either need to tighten the regulations and thus making access to AI harder [maybe increase fee to something >$300 to access the bot] or at least here on dA you've gotta make people declare if their works are AI-generated or not when they submit [what Pixiv is doing right now]. Yeah people can cheat around that cuz that's what we do, we love to cheat the system - but yeah, at least tighten rules and regulations around AI can decrease the current spam.
