He is a failed clone of Gwen Stacy with some Peter DNA because of Carnage, since he was made whith Peter's blood and he killed Gwen leaving parts of himself bonded to her.
Caine is unstable and is dying, he is called Kinslayer because he killed al the other failed clones to spare them his fate.
