(No, the title makes no sense but hanging around Martyn made me think up a nonsensical title)I was looking through some papers and I found this little comic strip that i drew a few months ago, so I thought I would clean it up a bit and post it...
I haven't been feeling that great lately in fact... I've just been down right down in the dumps as the expression goes.
Originally this strip wasn't supposed to have text but I started to ask myself what it is that's making me feel miserable, but by the time I finished doing this I realised that most of those worries are pretty downright silly... I shouldn't try to be anything more than I am. I guess just putting down my worries on paper kinda helps a bit.
As for the Boobie Weasel thing... ^_^; Well came up with that word and for some damn reason I keep falling into fits of hysterics every time I hear it, then again, whenever I am around those guys I always end up acting weird.
of course the girl in the glasses is who I may have driven almost to insanity, but since I haven't fully yet means I have to keep on trying.

Every artist gets down on themselves sometimes (as I'm currently kind of doing). But you've definitely come a long way in the past 3 years!! Also -- sometimes it's not exactly about how "good" you are, but how good you are making your own style and working with that.

i hadn`t thought of that word for months, kudos senior superbo for bringing it to a wider audience. makes me laugh just at the thought of someone else trying to make sense of it! and my two pennies worth- every artist in the history of the universe will, at some time, doubt their own ability to create at a level thy are pleased with. in my opinion it is the doubt that constantly makes us strive towards that ever ellusive concept: perfection. the trick is to embrace the doubt as just another tool to help you on the road to your next masterpiece. don`t let the doubts control you, use them to your own ends. you must accept the fact that as a creative and artistic type you will never be compleatly happy with your work, when the last picture is finished look towards the next one. any parts that displease you, make them better, any that you like, bask in your own glory. when you look at another artist you think is better just remember that often they will be thinking the same about you. always strive for perfection. you will never achieve it but will learn limitlessly in the striving. chin up mate there`s always a bigger boobie weasel.

Trust me I have felt like that before, but like you said you can only be yourself and thats what matters. I mean compare my art to yours, I have a LONG way to go before I can improve on my art stuff
As for the weird words thing, me and my friends did it at college all the time, one of my friends came up wit 'Afro monkey'

your art is good and you have skillz. Mad funny humor skillz. All of your art usually gives me a giggle. Also being down over how awesome someone else is silly. Art is like snowflakes. No ones art is the same as anothers. Sure you can mimic someone else but when ou do your own it it self full filling. Lightfoot is a loveable art master, and so are you. Everyone on that list is happy to have you doodle along with them.
Plus always remeber you are more loved than me. lol. Your art kick's mine's ass. Like derman smack down of france ass kicking. lol.
So don't beat yourself up over it. You are a great artist, a cool guy, and sure a wonderful friend to those you are friends with. If ya need to vent more I will be on msn later on tonight. I don't mind being shouted at or being the guy ya whine too. lol. Its all good.

and your art is great, you have a nice original style which makes me laugh (the sarah breast growth for example) and scare the hell out of me (the beetlejuice pic)

well I have an off humor, or so I am told. My style isn't all that original. Kinda a mix of Hellsing and Trigun simplified. I can create creapy no prob. I have an odd lil brain. lol.

well I am sure you'd love the manga. Hellsing deals with Vampires, Nazies, and London. The whole demonic appearance and the way some of the faces of the ladies are shaped is from that series. Trigun has more of the build of my guys from it. Long arms, broad shoulders, and the silly fire arms. I modeled my style off of them, and simplified a good bit. Hellsing is uber detailed. my id right now is art from that series.

Besides that... This seems like the sorta thing that happens when I feel down, I get depressed, and then some random person says something completely perverted and silly it breaks me out of the funk

I have no idea what the heck it is, but I'm guessing it's a normal weasel with fake boobies. as once drawn by my friend Shaz. I'd say we were wasted at the time but none of us take drugs or drink that much!
