Description

He had spent so long on his own, catering to the needs of no one in utter solitude. He had lied to himself for his whole lonely childhood, talking up his life's quality to others be boasting about his utter 'freedom' and omitting the lackluster parts of the struggle that was survival for a young Titan.

He had some help along the way, seeking shelter with elephants in Melrakki for a short period of time when he was just a pup. It did not take him long to outgrow his welcome there, however. By the time he reached his teenage maturity, he had been sent on his own to wander the mysterious lands of Ulfrheim.

He did not know where he came from, or what he was meant to be.. but some part of his heart always knew there was something great lying in waiting, despite his early abandonment. When the will-o-wisp called to him, he answered with unwavering fearlessness.. following it to the shrine of Ragnarok.

"Skoll," it called to him.. the boy never really having known a name before then.

"You will rise," a promise left as a whisper ringing in his ears with no real determination that it was reality or fantasy. Had he lost his mind, or was this beginning of a greater story? 'Skoll' as he now called himself lifted his stare to set on the mighty image that was the statue before him. If he was to ever find out, he would have to start with the tale that lay within the statue's origins.
