This is the first Mt. Hood shot of 2014, and the first trial panoramic with my Canon 6D (goodby Canon40D, we'll miss you!). Early morning light caught an impressive cap of clouds over Mt. Hood. One of the things I love about this view was how the reflected light on the snow softened the crags and crevasses on Hood's flanks. It is a current project of mine to get much, much closer in on those fine details in future shots.
