this is a character design for a side project I've begun with my animator friend Stephen. It is, as you may be able to tell, about kids with super powers, doing the kind of stuff I always used to fantasize about as a child.

The major bonus to this little project is that I'm learning how to use Maya to model this little guy! Lots of fun, actually, it's not as difficult as I expected, mostly because I really like sculpting with actual clay.

I got a little Thiebaud-y with the color on this one, it was a nice little sketch to loosen up with.
