I finished it finally! I'm so sorry it took me so long I just wasn't happy with the old one, the drawing or the attempt at cg I had made
You deserved something much nicer! 
So I fixed up the drawing and stuck to the pencils and markers 
I hope you'll like it?!

I actually got a quicker reply from someone else, so I used that picture instead. But I'll favorite this one to keep in mind if I need another picture. And thanks for letting me use it!

her cloak is very nicely done, I like her leaning pose, and the nice summer background is a nice touch and gives the picture a nice tone to it

Oh yeah lol maybe so, but it's still very pretty! Think about how in Lord of the Rings, Elrond and those other elves could hardly move when they were in their robes and stuff b/c the sleeves were so big and heavy lol

I love the sensitivity of the linework, and the color choices harmonize well to give the composition a unified look. The texture on the tree is partiuclarly well done (I'm sure that probably took a while!), while the dress flows naturally. Her expression, framed by that beautiful hair, gives life to the figure and makes the viewer wonder what (or whom) she is waiting for!
That being said, one can't have a complete picture without a background, which you have rendered with fidelity to woodland glades.

Yes, I think I know who she is, though there are two Mel's in first year. Neither of them were in my class and I don't really know last names. Did she have blonde or brown hair

Well I took the GO train to and from school and the last train is at like 10 but it's really inconveniant to leave later than 6 because then you end up waiting at the station for a while. I worked on weekends plus one day a week so I really didn't have the time to stay at the school. I can honestly say all my animations were done the day before they were due

Wow, that's really nice and colorful. I like her pose, she looks very relaxed and somewhat mysterious. Her dress looks very real and natural as well as pretty!^^ You did a wonderful job on the highlighting and shading as well. OMG, I just saw how pretty her hair is. Yeah, your proportions are fine except on her right arm, it's a little(mind you I say little) long. The background is refreshing too! Great job!^^ Amazing what you find on the main page!^^
