Very excited to be able to post this finally! I was lucky enough to be able to participate in a collaborative art project based on Game of Thrones (a.k.a. A Song of Ice and Fire). My contribution was the crafty Tyrell family, inspired by matriarch Olenna’s hand in the Purple Wedding. This project was lovingly organized by and features art from over a 100 amazing artists! And, there is a kickstarter for the project to have it printed as a gorgeous book!www.kickstarter.com/projects/2…
Want to get you hands on the book? Lucky you, cuz there’s even an Early Bird Special, where you can get the book at a sweet sweet discount (spots are running out though, less than 30 left!) Each tier of the project comes with additional rewards that will score you some additional GOT themed art and wearables designed by some of the artists from the project. There’s even a tier where you could get all of that plus a custom commission from myself

I know it got mentioned below, but just gonna explain...placing the white Queen in front of the black King is checkmate because the Queen would be protected by the Knight.

Thank you! I'm not a chess player but I believe you should be able to take out the king with two other chess pieces on the board still. I had looked up checkmate plays where the queen takes the king and this was an example. But someone else pointed out it was incorrect, I think I just got the placement wrong? Trying to figureout a proper checkmate so I can fix it before it gets printed lol

It's definitely possible to checkmate with just a king and rook or a queen, but I don't think it's possible to do with any other combination of king and other piece vs. just the other king. (or at least I haven't visualized a scenario where it can happen.

Where King is now, if he plays smart, he can take out the knight before he is removed himself. But in the end the bishop and queen will have him cornered
