First legit painting thingy done on my new Wacom Bamboo tablet.
Let me just tell you that as a traditional artist of all my life, this basically made me want to pull my hair out. But I kept at it! I'm sad to say that this came out not at all like I had imagined, but I'll make a point one day to redo this piece exactly how I envisioned it, when I'm more experienced with the programs. I can already see now that the programs that I used that came with the tablet ( Autodesk Sketchbook Express and Photoshop Elements) are pretty inferior, the tools we use in our digital arts class ( which are basically the full entire programs + illustrator) have much more features. Hopefully I can get the full programs in the future.

This painting is supposed to have a 70's feel, because this is based off of a very 70's sounding song. [link]

Here are some things I really liked about the tablet:
-Everythings clean and right at your fingertips
-Crtl + Z is your best bro when you screw up so many times
-Its fun goofing around with other effects and moods

Some things I really didn't like were:
-The complete inability to capture emotion. So much easier with a pencil!
-Tools can't be shrunken to super small points (at least with the programs I used) making details difficult
-I have no freaking idea on how to use layers..............

That being said. This was drawn on all one layer. Lol. Oh and please remember that if the anatomy looks off, thats cause it is. I'm still learning!
