I love the color choice and lineart quality on this! The lines are consistent and very clean, including the shadows.

The creativity in the design is obviously its main strength; the mouths in the mane look awesome and the star/galaxy patterns in the dark bits of fur make the creature look very magical and unique.

Since it is a prince’s familiar, it makes sense for the body to be elegant and majestic. The upper body and head have the exact right feel, the front legs are very thin and give him a dignified look! …but I find that the back legs and tail do not quite match with the upper body. Don’t get me wrong, each element by itself looks cool and stylized, but I think the back legs look a lot more like a quirky, clumsy character’s legs because of the wide heel and lack of knee definition. The tail also has a cutesy poofy look that could be toned down just a tad to match better with the very majestic look of the front of the body.

So, personally I’d rethink the legs, but it’s not that they don’t look cool or anything. Another tiny small little detail, the shadows on the white elements could be a bit darker, since they're barely visible right now ^^ Except for that though, it looks super gorgeous. The expression is serene and just a bit smug so it gives him a lot of personality. The cute little stars are also a nice addition.

This is a very nice piece, clean line art, careful color choice. This looks amazing!
I know this has been said a lot but the design of this character is brilliant, especially the multiple mouths and lack of mouth on the main head of the character. ( I'm guessing he eats with the multiple mouths? )
I also adore the simple shading on this piece and how it's not too dark and fits well, the blue hues are also a favorite of mine and how they aren't too saturated or distracting from the main body.

My only complaint would be the eye on the rump of the character, the overall eye is done quite well, but I feel the eye lashes are just a tad too long, making the eye seem like less of an eye and more of a tattoo ( but then again I'm really struggling to find something wrong about this piece and that's more of a nitpick).

Overall I love how you've used the colors in this, you've certainly done an amazing job. Keep up the good work!

Truly original and cool design! I also appreciate the style and especially the coloring. Love the saturated galaxy blue in combination with the pure white and kind of burning yellow

I love interesting characters that are shown here on Deviantart like this and you prove well of a good character design!

I love the color blue and stars so I kinda died loving this guy/gal when I first saw him/her.

Just the how the way it looks like your average real animals would definitely keep a mind going looking at this.
