Drew this about six months ago. No kidding. xDJust a concept sketch of my beloved character, Cirris Niveus White. (Yes, his name has two words that mean "white," because he's just that awesome.)
I envisioned this scene to be one of those, "I've got to save them!" or "I'm gonna kill this guy!" kinds. Either really distressed or really ticked off. Whichever way, I'm pretty happy with this.
I think I redrew his muzzle, like, six times. It was rather frustrating. ^^'

I didn't see as much concern for others as I see concern for an obstacle.
Maybe he's rearing to charge and trying to intimidate, but internally thinking that whatever he has to do won't be easy or fun.

I dunno. With Cirris, you kinda have to know the context surrounding a particular scene to know what's going on inside his head.
