MONTHLY QUEST

Larkka's Follower
One night of Bloodmoon, you are brutally pulled out of your sleep by a sudden attack. Waking up with a start, you narrowly escape your attacker who is none other than a Larkka's Follower.
At this time of the year, it is common for Followers to try to please the corrupted Goddess by making sacrifices to her.
The Follower doesn't give you time to speak to them and attacks you again!

To complete this quest, depict your beast fleeing or defending themselves against the Larkka’s Follower.

Spook had nestled into some grasses in a wooded area that for lack of a better word were a bit spooky. However, he knew full well that half of it was the Bloodmoon and the other was the fog. What could possibly go wrong? After several hours of sleeping rather soundly his ear flickered at the sound of a twig snapping and before he knew it this beast was attempting to drag him away. Spook pushed them off with his hindlegs and twisted around to stand his ground. It was a dark brown worg with a pale face and red eyes. It snickered in a grating way as Spook sneered and snarled. "Whom dares to awaken me!" he barked. The follower of Larkka's voice sounded raspy as they replied "Me....to make you as a sacrifice to my Goddess..." Spook growled, baring his teeth, "Not so long as I can fight you, filth...".

This piece is 100% lets have fun with it and hope for the best. I immediately sketched it up the moment it was released and have been working on it on/off all month in between commission work and personal life stuff. And, here it is! Added a little story in with it too -- not much just a paragraph. Spook is one of my more favorite beasts -- they are all my favorites but he is in particular one of my favorites and always enjoy doing Bloodmoon stuff with him since that is when I got the floofer. It was hard to make it dark on his coat w/o expensing his markings since he is melanistic! lol So, I tried to keep it leveled out best I can his shading is 10 points lighter then the follower of larkka's coat is -- so hopefully it is OK. I can see it well on my screen but I know others may struggle. And now I want to design a worg that would look like that and make it officially a character! lol
