I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I hate the quality too. It's obviously an edited instagram screenshot and very tiny ... it's the only version I have, though

Anyway I'm SUPER excited to share my boy with you; he's the main character from my new short story! I can't reveal much about him, or his backstory yet ... but I will share some more info on him down below : )

NEW EDEN IS STILL MY PRECIOUS BABY AND I'M NOT FORGETTING HER, JUST TAKING A BREAK

Personality:
Symour will initially come off as a very extroverted, wild, and almost spastic individual who is almost coming apart at the seams with passion. He may also seem rather flamboyant and aggressive; indeed, he acts quite aggressive and mean, being very blunt and filled with burning ideas that he can't help but speak exactly as they cross his mind. Having a dominant personality, he often picks on those "below" him (aka submissive or passive aggressive people, or those acting "weak".) However, this is not done with a mean spirit; Symour can't comprehend how anyone could feel anything but extreme aggression, passion and joy. He has a huge fervor for living life, and is seemingly never bored. A bit of a control freak; however, he is not easily insulted, being very used to others disliking him or doubting his ideas and methods. Frowns deeply upon anything conventional, or people sticking only to tried and true solutions, Symour loves to experiment, and try and introduce a unique view of the world. Fascinated with anything that appears small and insignificant, but that actually controls and dictates much of human existence; this is why he aspired to be an entomologist. Due to his very extroverted demeanour, people will often assume him to be shallow; on the contrary, Symour has a rich inner mind, and is always thinking and innovating. Also a bit of a show off, he has an interest in anything to do with design, particularly fashion and illustration.

Age and birthday: Age: 24-26. Birthday: 2nd September.

Facts:

♡ He acts aggressive and mean. Having a dominant personality, he often picks on those "below" him (aka submissive or passive aggressive people, or those acting "weak". He needs everyone on his level, emotionally speaking. However, he is not mean spirited.
♡ Likes to hang around, mess with and bother people. However, he never really interferes with what they're doing, and doesn't prank people.
♡ Seemingly immune to less aggressive emotions like sadness, fear, etc. He is always happy or angry.
♡ Very extroverted.
♡ An aspiring entomologist.
♡ Loves to dress up and is a show off. He likes to stand out, but isn't exactly prideful.
♡ Very good at debating. However, he isn't always the most logical, and sometimes thinks with his heart.
♡ Spontaneous.
♡ He has pretty wavy hair. He tries to keep it out of his face, but usually fails. It is a bit messy.
♡ Has a lot of moles and freckles.
♡ Eats almost anything. His favourite flavour is sour and he adores citrus.
♡ Almost never bored.

♡ Since childhood he has been plagued by dreams of being devoured and/or killed by sea monsters. He is plagued with crippling Thalassophobia, but finds it rather embarrassing and tries to hide the fact from others.

♡ He loves 80s and 90s music, especially synthpop and britpop. Some of his well liked bands include the Cure and Duran Duran.

Family and Background:

His father is Austrian and his mother was from Germany which is where he lived. His mom was frequently away and he didn't get to know her well. However, he was always inspired by her ambitious attitude. His father was rather lazy; his only real character trait was being miserly. Though his family had a lot of money, Symour doesn't care much for material things. His birthday is September 2nd.

About name: Symour's birth name was "Seymour Clemens Fritz". However, he eventually changed it to "Symour F (Fritz) Colombini" to sound more akin to Sympetrum Fonscolombii, the scientific name for the Red Veined Darter, his favourite insect.
