Wow, it feels like I’m in middle school again with the zelda au. Have a zelda and protective older-brother link while the world slowly descends into chaos and my work hours get cut.Related content

Adorable. This brings back memories of Wind Waker Link going on his quest initially to save his little sister Aryll. That is one of my favorite parts of the plot for that game. And it also evokes Link and Colin's relationship in Twilight Princess, as Rusl's son aspires to be a hero that can defend what is precious to him, leading with a kind heart rather than a fearless one.

Twilight Princess is my favorite Zelda game, and my favorite incarnation of Link, despite BotW Link being as much of a blank slate we have ever seen for his character. He starts out as you do: with no idea what section of Hyrule you are in or what story is in store. You both learn/"remember" the history of this latest version of Hyrule over the course of this VERY non-linear game.

He's the town hero we all long for, while still having enough inexperience to be surprised at all of the different environs we encounter, especially the parallel realm of shadows. I have a place in my heart for all incarnations of Link (not obsessive like Cia, but fondness you understand), but TP Link is my favorite.
