love the colors and the shading but the crystals I think look more plastic and should have some of transparancy to it

it's a struggle. Especially when you don't have anyone to help you out. I've wanted to go to an art course since forever but all I got so far was art class at school. Which is pretty much useless because no one sees to take it seriously. And at my new school we don't even have art class but we have like three different obligatory science classes -_-

useless teachers are the worst. Once the art teacher was sick and a substitute came in and said, I quote "do something" e_e mm that must suck. I think I'd actually enjoy it if they taught me useful things that I've been dying to get taught since forever like perspective with people, general anatomy, how to use colors and shading and textures but no, we spend an entire class drawing different types of lines. I may not know anatomy but I can draw you a bad A squiggly line.

Oh man thats the worst. In my sophomore year I had to take art 1 before I could do anything more advanced and we literally spent like at least one whole class period learning how to use colored pencils. Like we coulda been learning how to paint, or learning more advanced drawing techniques but no, instead we learned how to use colored pencils "properly"

hmm I get where you're coming from. Although I've seen some amazing colored pencil drawings on here that I didn't think was possible using a colored pencil so one shouldn't underestimate the media.

True true, colored pencils are great tools. But like, most of the people in the class knew how to color. And i didnt think it required taking up a whole class period ya know?
