Description
This drawing has existed in one form or another for about for about a year. I guess it’s done. A difficult project for me, I’m not too sure about how it turned out.
A friend of mine showed me a drawing I did for him back in 96’
I though it would be fun to do a new version showcasing how my style has changed. And hopefully, show if I’ve gotten any better.
Well, the lines were easy, everything else was a pain. I could have finished this sooner if I wasn’t so afraid of it. The original had flat black skin with no tones or shading. So I knew I need to render it. I chose to do it digitally in the end, in Photoshop, with a mouse. I should have just inked and water colored it. In the end it simply proved I have no idea what I am doing.

Oh, I love Storm! Defiantly an influence on my characters designs when I was young. The original was darawn way back on the early 90's. You are very perceptive.

Still, when I look at this drawing I think I need to draw more cartoon-ish. Make something less stiff and realistic... get back to my artistic roots.
I also think I need to stop drawing fantasy women in bikinis. Then I think perhaps I should draw more.

I think you should draw what moves you. Perhaps getting back to your roots would be a great start nad burst of inspiration. You should also draw more sexy men so I can fangirl out.. lack of better words

Well, being a lady, I require loads of men. And you draw amazingly well, just want to see more manly mens in your style, particularly the evil sorts. Constipation look optional. <3

Wow, what a definite improvement! The face seems a lot more expressive. I also love the random triangle on her chest and the spots of color in her eyes, the ground, and the smoke. And the highlighting makes me happy.
