This is a combination of 2 pieces I rendered a VERY long time ago! The image of Batman against the Gotham cityscape was rendered in acrylics, the portrait of Jack Nicholson's Joker in pencil.I have enjoyed the psychology behind both of these well known characters for years, and am looking forward to seeing how Christian Bale and Heath Ledger square up in Christopher Nolan's sequel to 'Batman Begins'.
Who knows - might give this image another shot with a Heath Ledger Joker portrait
