Well, it's beautiful and I went on a very nice visit through your gallery last night - and wondered why I never had before lol. Beautiful stuff in there. I know what you mean about returning to a particular style - with me the "old style" are my comfort zone.

oh no! you got lost in my gallery? i love apo and some of the things you do with it are just amazing! if you ever do a tutorial i will be first in line! i am still trying to get the spherical thing to work! i have had a little success but nothing like yours! thanks again!

Yes, I did - and it was a wonderful wander.

I'm still kicking around the idea of a tutorial. Right now I'm in the midst of creating an online digital art gallery separate from dA (because I need a break from my "real" project, which is transcribing 14th - 17th century medical manuscripts and because I have loads of space and bandwidth, and would like to be able to link to it from other places without using the dA interface.) Once I get that done, I may work up a tutorial for the Lazy Susan fractals that I uploaded earlier this year. To prove how much my brain is boggled by all of these projects, I'm not sure which fractal(s) you're referring to as "the spherical thing." Hmm. Do you mean [link] ? If so, note me and I'll see if I can help.

yes that is the one i was referring to! it is so beautiful! i love getting params! however i really like being able to know how they work!~ even tho i have really dark hair i am a bit blonde at times!

I put together a little flame pack so you can compare the progression of how I arrived at the end product of "Capacitorium" ... and one more, which I'll explain in an accompanying note. The only problem is, I can't send a flame pack in a dA note. Would you like it sent attached to mail (in which case you can note me your email address) or shall we try a long note with four parameters in it? (This site's been nothing but grief to me all week; I'm not even convinced this message will go through without timing out, but I'm willing to give it a try.)
