I had commissioned EZwolf for one of his amazing photomanips (go see his FA gallery, if you haven't yet! www.furaffinity.net/gallery/ez… ), so he made a makeshift set-up for me at NFC (NordicFuzzCon), and this is the final result of our photoshoot there--resposted with his permission, of course!
I just couldn't be happier; this is exactly the kind of image I had in mind for her!! <3 Here, Selene the Moonspirit is bidding you entrance into her frozen world, as she creates an Aurora Borealis for you in the blink of an eye. Damn tis looks realistic fursuit, could not see a CWC like creature done any better. Seeing you in this photo-manipulation landscape is really detail and down right near realistic as well, like an arctic wolf. EZWolf did a quite excellent image construct.

I saw this costume before this image was posted. I fell in love with it then, and I love it even more now.
Selene has the definite look of a person in a costume, if that makes any sense, but somehow that only adds to the charm of the picture, like how in theater productions you can see the trapdoor the person 'disappeared' through, and yet still remain completely invested in the story.

Aww, thank you! <3 And yes, I don't mind that one can tell it's a costume, so long as it's realistic enough (in looks or performance, or both) to suspend one's disbelief for a moment, as in a theater play.

You're welcome! For me, the flaws make the medium, giving it its own unique flavor. Stop motion's a little too jerky, CGI's a little too smooth, cartoons have to tell a story in 22 minutes in addition to whatever story arcs they infuse into the show, theater has to be entirely live and without the aid of computer graphics... It's cool to see how people take these flaws in stride and work around them, or else use them to their advantage.
