Here I have a commission for with his character wearing a kimono walking in an oriental park at night.Personally I always wanted to draw a kimono but with a woman XD First time I pay more attention for a kimono foe males, and like how this looks : )

Me gusta este estilo de dibujo que manejas más a la estilo de caricatura, pues el fondo con toque realista con el personaje así hacen buen contraste. Y fijándome en los detalles me gusta la iluminación en general, pues desde cómo se proyectan las sombres del barandal del puente hasta como la luz rodea la silueta del personaje ayudan en mucho para captar estas escenas de toque oriental.
El fondo lo encuentro bien detallado y sobre todo por las lozas de piedras al borde del río. Esta vez los árboles sí quedaron mejor, tanto en tamaño como en la forma que debieran tener sus copas; el único detalle que te podría mencionar al respecto es que encuentro las hojas del durazno algo grandes para la lejanía que presentan.
Pero en su totalidad un buen trabajo con buenos detalles en toda el atuendo del personaje ^^

Si, con los arboles me daba algo de cosa que terminara pareciendose mucho como algodon de azucar, ya que nunca he trabajado con arboles de colores que no sean verdes XD Esta vez me quedo satisfecho con este ; )
Y si XD algo grandes posiblemente heheh. Pero bueno, lo intente XD pa la siguiente ahi evitare esos errores heheh.

nah es un gran dibujo siempre manejas todo muy bien , de hecho a ti uno ve que te comisionan mucho y sos capaz de acomodarte a las netas exigencias del cliente , osea ni se ve tu neto estilo , parece un dibujo nuevo siempre eso es genial

lol i knew it. I've seen my shares of kimonos and so I knew the design wasn't intended to be japanese and I have some experience looking at clothing in chinese history. the design is very detailed so i knew it couldn't be anything older than song or tang dynasty. Maybe Ming at its earliest considering the influence of interacting w other countries did occur at the time allowing more creativity with designs. and i think you did very well with this

To be honest when I was searching for ideas, I didn´t recognize which is chinese and japanese XD So I just improvised wth the basics that I saw in most of the ideas and I add my personal touches ; )

heheh yeah i like chinese history, at least until the communist party then it gets a little too much. i also enjoyed chinese stories and have played my share of dynasty warriors of course XD and i think you did really well especially since you went on a limb with what design and how you added your touches. i'm sure the receipient would be very pleased with the outcome. and you're very welcome. i always enjoy checking your work and commenting and this one was no different. plus you seem like a really chill guy to get to know ^^
