Little sister has joined her big sister. The irony of the two was that, although Shichi was a year older, Zig has always been bigger (but a massive pushover hah). Those two would tear up the house together and at the end of it all, Shichi would always make Zig the fall guy if she could. She was a magic kitty, both in terms of her beautiful markings, and the fact that for some reason she could float. I've never seen a cat get more hang time mid-air than Zig could. I firmly believe she had a grasp of physics that is just incomprehensible to the human mind. Ever the paradox, Zig always believed she was smaller than she actually was, and she always saw herself as a kitten needing big sister to be her lead. After Shichi passed, Zig struggled to find a new normal. She was a kitty that always needed a companion. Now she's joined her sister and she won't be without her ever again. I'll miss her so much, but I'm glad I had her while I did. I know I'll always miss them both tremendously, but I'm grateful for the 17 wonderful years I had with my girls.
