This is my entry for Krissi001 's Give me your smile project.

I originally messaged Krissi and asked if I could submit a joke-y entry at the end of the project simply containing a emote. But the more I thought about it, the more I wanted it to include a smile ... just not necessarily in the same way as everyone else.

I started with a smile on a sign, but struggled to squish it in to the small canvas. After waiting 3 weeks inspiration struck and I decided to include the balloon. It meant that couldn't easily have his hands in the normal place, but I don't think it matters.

If you have some free time, or want to get in to emoticons, do check out the project. Projects used to be a core element of the emote community, and it's so nice to see it happening once again after several years. Anyone can join, no matter your experience level, and krissi has some handy templates for those that would like to use them.
