Description I was in Japan for a week last month with my husband. We had a great vacation. One of the highlights was roaming Tsukiji Market. I have a ritual where I make artworks based on vacation photos. I feel that it lets the vacation live on.

I just love how realistic your art is in terms of lighting & shading, you still managed to have a fairly anime looking character in there. Why are you & your art so bloody gorgeous?

I meant for this to be just a perspective exercise and made the the lines really loose. I can definitely see where they don't intersect correctly. I actually just started painting it about 45 min ago right after I put my two daughters to bed. But during the process I ended up painting it a bit more and just decided to detail it even though the rough sketch was not ideal. Not every one has a lot of time and the opportunity to focus on an artwork.
