I have those days more often than I'd like.

heh yeah my usual release is more along the lines of speeding at stupidly reckless numbers in my car while screaming along with something on the radio as I do. Works wonders

You get better acoustics in a full-face helmet. From your own voice at any rate.
Plus you can make the bike scream too, just downshift.
But your method sounds really fun. Kind of hard to pull off in a minivan though.
