I tried drawing NK in Ken Sugimori's style just for the kicks of it. I'm not sure about you, but I'm pretty proud of it, even though I sort of flopped in the shading part of his style.This makes me feel a little bit happy on the inside. Although it took SO LONG to get the proper Eevee anatomy! You don't even know! ;~;
That little cheek curve took over a ZILLION tries!

Yup. There's an artist that drawsΒ PokΓ©mon in Sugimori's style. is the best example.

I personally see Xous54 being an even greater mimicker of the Sugimori style.

With how much time I put into this, not a chance.
I'm proud of it either way and still think it's somewhat accurate of Ken Sugimori's style. I usually don't draw like this at all, therefore I feel achieved when I draw something like this, and it actually comes out somewhat decent.
