Not a very creative title, I know
Before this I have never ever touched an animating program and never thought I would. I was experimenting drawing frames of a moving cat with Photoshop 6.0 and putting them together with CoffeeCup GIF animator. The smoothness of the spray in Photoshop was sort of roughened up (I mean how the orange looks layered; the dots are how it is in PS) when I saved the animation (if anyone knows a simple animator program that doesn't do this could you plz tell me ).
This was originally just a thick-lined drawing but later I decided to see how it would look with colour. Maybe later I might add a background. Any ideas?

Btw this cat is not stretching; well, it probably is now since i can't draw the difference, but initially it was getting in position to pounce. Perhaps I will add the pounce in when I feel up to it. But at the moment it just feels impossible since there are so many changes in the body at once if I let it pounce, and my brain just can't hold all that information together

And also this is the first time I've "hand"-drawn something in Photoshop and called it an artwork. Drawing with a mouse is just terrible. But I'm glad to say, the crookedness and roughness of the cat outline is intentional

EDIT: I know, the colouring does funny things...

Ok I've just re-submitted the work. Originally the cat went into pouncing position then immediately popped back up into sitting poistion, and that was just too uncomfortable to watch, so now I've added all the frames again so it'll reverse its actions and come back up and go more smoothly.
