A shame, considering what happens to 105 in my universe

Long story short: He went to work at a colliery in Somerset called "Barbury Colliery", where he was joined by a Terrier, a USA tank, a Manning Warddle, an Andrew Barclay saddle tank, and a Billinton C-2 0-6-0 tender engine. He worked there until the colliery closed. The Fat Clergyman discovered him, and when it was discovered he was one of only two E-2s left (the other being Thomas), he was earmarked for preservation by the National Railway Museum in York. He was cosmetically restored back to LBSCR livery and started making his trek towards York, but along the way, he was sent to work in an industrial estate. The estate's own diesel shunter had broken down and had left them short handed, so they were going to borrow 105 until they could get a replacement or fix their own shunter. 105 worked there, but a few weeks later, there was a horrifying accident at a gas works, and an explosion ultimately took 105's life.
105 was said to be grouchy and a little desensitized [the latter was due to the war; he actually lost an eye during a bombing raid during the war], and he hated Thomas' guts because "he always got special treatment", but if you struck up a conversation, he'd show himself to be rather pleasant.
Funnily enough, when I first saw this render and saw you'd done up 105 in black, I thought you'd seen the sprite of my 105 OC, because I depicted 105 wearing National Coal Board Black. I am not aware of any E-2s working for the National Coal Board; I just loosely based the livery on other NCB tank engines.
